The CEBioS programme being funded by the Belgian Ministry of Cooperation, projects will have to clearly show how they aim to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.

Taxonomic research related to the following subjects will be encouraged: agriculture, fisheries, pollution mitigation, pollination, food, health, invasive species, pests and forest management.

Eligible countries for 2020: Benin* - Burkina Faso* - Burundi* – Cambodia - Cote d'Ivoire - DR Congo* - Ghana - Guinea* - Guinea Bissau - Kenya –  Mali* - Morocco* - Niger* - Palestinian Territory* - Rwanda* - Tanzania* - Togo - Uganda* - Vietnam. Priority is given to projects taking place in countries belonging to priority partner countries of the Belgian governmental cooperation (with an asterisk in the above list).

We highly encourage women applications!

People must be officially registered at a university or official research institution to apply in an eligible country (proof must me given at the end of the form).

Deadline to apply: 1st July 2020.
