Since 2008 the International Institute for Species Exploration at Arizona State University announces a list of the 'Top 10 New Species' for the preceding calendar year. The Top 10 New Species described in 2010 are now known.
One of them, a small antilope called Philantomba walteri Colyn et al., 2010, is described by a.o. colleagues from the Royal Belgian institute of Natural Sciences, in Brussels. The types of this duiker are deposited in the Royal Museum for Central Africa in Tervuren.
