GTI alumnius H. T. Pham and J.-Y. Yang document the first record of the cicadid genus Karenia and decribe a new species therein

As a result of a project funded by the Belgian Development Cooperation, via the Belgian GTI Office, the genus Karenia (Hemiptera: Cicadidae) is recorded for the first time in Vietnam. A new species, K. hoanglienensis sp. nov; is also described.
