Department of Entomology, University of Maryland and Systematic Entomology Laboratory, USDA, ARS, National Museum of Natural History, Washington DC, invite applications and nominations for a postdoctoral research associate position available July 1, 2010.
Duration is one year with a strong possibility of another year.
Duties include revisionary study, dissections, descriptions, and digital illustrations of beetles of a leaf beetle genus Diabrotica (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae) for an interactive, Lucid based key for North and Central American species.
This is a full time, benefits-eligible position, with a salary between $45,000-50,000/year. Duty station is National Museum of Natural History, Washington DC.
