GTI calls - TAEDOUMG Evariste Hermann, Cameroon Support via: 2008 ext call; 2009 ext call   Abstract (as taken from original proposal) Craterispermum est présent en Afrique, à Madagascar et aux Seychelles. Il n’existe aucun traitement taxonomique prenant en compte toute l'aire de distribution du genre. En l’état actuel des connaissances, il est difficile d’identifier au niveau spécifique le matériel d'herbier existant (plus de 2500 spécimens) ou de dire avec certitude combien d’espèces compte ce genre. La révision du genre fera l’objet de la première partie de ma dissertation doctorale. Pendant mon premier stage GTI, j’ai identifié un nombre d’espèces bien délimitées. Cependant, il existe au sein de Craterispermum, un complexe d’espèces difficile à délimiter. Il s’agit de C. schweinfurthii (distribué du Nigeria à l’Afrique de l’Est) et de C. cerinanthum (distribué d’Afrique de l’Ouest au Congo-Kinshasa).
