GTI calls - SIMO TCHUEMBOU Murielle Michele, Cameroon<p><strong>Abstract</strong></p>
<p>Avec 206 espèces, <em>Angraecum </em>Bory est un des genres d’Orchidaceae les plus diversifiés en Afrique. Dix neuf sections y sont actuellement reconnues basées sur leurs caractéristiques morphologiques, parmi lesquelles les sections Dolabrifolia et Pectinaria distribuées en Afrique tropicale et à Madagascar. D’intenses missions de terrain menées par l’ULB en collaboration avec ses différents partenaires africains ont permis la récolte de trois nouvelles espèces du genre Angraecum appartenant à ces deux sections. De plus, la distribution disjointe (ACA et Madagascar) entre les espèces de la section Pectinaria accroît certains doutes quant à l’origine monophylétique de cette section. La description des nouveaux taxons et la révision complète de ces deux sections sont donc indispensables. La combinaison de la phylogénie et des études génétiques de population basées sur des échantillons en silica gel récemment collectés permettra d‘utiliser pour la première fois ces nouvelles approches pour la classification des espèces de ces deux sections.</p>
